Why a Christian Clothing Company?

That’s a great question. It’s one we asked ourselves many times.

We love to go out for sushi! We would often go out for a “girls night” but end up spending most of our time dreaming about potential businesses and ministries.

If we had to pinpoint the moment the seed of a “Christian t-shirt company” was placed in our hearts… I’d put us back to this one moment at church several years ago.

We were sitting together listening to one of our favorite speakers, Michael Dalton. His message was about pouring out as worshippers.

He touched on not thinking too hard about how you look or feel; it’s not our own strength and effort that produces the power and presence of God. We are just the vessel.

The whole church laughed when Michael quipped, “you’re just the bucket baby!”

Side note: At the time, we were new worshippers on our church’s worship team and The Lord knows we needed as much encouragement as we could get.

We said, “That should be on a T-shirt!”

The phrase “I’m a bucket” quickly became our mantra.

We worshipped together on that platform for years. Anytime we felt inadequate or the pressure to perform, we would say to each other, “I’m a Bucket, I’m a bucket, I’m a bucket!”

It was a good reminder to let The Lord pour out his goodness through our worship.

Now, we haven’t made the famous “I’m a bucket” t-shirt that truly may have started it all… yet… but you never know!

Ultimately after 5 years of going through idea after idea for a business, we landed back at the one we felt The Lord lead us to first, and started our Christian Clothing Company.

We are so excited to start by launching with some beautiful Christian hats!

So here we go friends say it with me, “I’m a Bucket, I’m a bucket, I’m a bucket!”
